Kids College is a quality childcare centre with an EXCEEDING THE NATIONAL STANDARDS rating on the old system in 2016 and again on the new system in 2019. Kids College is proudly owned and managed by the Scafidas family. We were very lucky and finally had our dream come true, to create a wonderful loving childcare for children to enjoy and for parents to trust. In July 2024 we passed on our dream and sold to Nikki and her family.
Our Kids College staffing team
Kids College has a core team of permanent full-time educators across our four rooms and a part time job share team. Each team member gets a few fixed days each week and works in different roles on different days. When one of our team need a day off, we have the advantage of calling on any of our job share team who know and love all of our Kids College children. Non contact covers us for time off floor for educators to use to plan their incredible experiences and being fully covered whilst doing so. Room cover staff cover for staff lunches and some non contact time aswell. To see who is on duty just check the notice board in our entrance foyer each day as you come in. This system also ensures we are upholding our exceptional hygiene practices and there isn’t any cross contamination of germs from any other centre that relief staff from an agency might bring. This job share system ensures a good life work balance and allows for time to study and follow our early childhood educator career path and build skills so we can be the very best we can be.

Hi, I’m Namrata (Nikki), and I’ve joined Kids College Team in 2024. I am a dedicated nurse and a loving mother of two energetic boys, aged 12 and 6. My journey through motherhood has been incredibly rewarding, filled with countless cherished moments and invaluable life lessons. My professional career as a nurse has allowed me to extend my caring nature beyond my family, providing compassionate care and support to those in need. With a strong foundation of passion and dedication, I’ve been continuously seeking opportunities to grow and develop my skills in childcare. When I’m not busy with work or family responsibilities, I love to indulge in my hobbies, which include traveling and spending quality time with my loved ones. Exploring new places and experiencing different cultures has always been a passion of mine. Each journey brings new adventures and memories that I treasure deeply. In addition to my human family, I am also a proud pet parent to two adorable fur babies named Hugo and Boss. They bring immense joy and laughter into our household, adding to the warmth and love that we all share. Our home is always bustling with activity, filled with the sounds of playful children and the happy barks of our furry companions. In all aspects of my life, whether it’s my career, family, or personal interests, I strive to bring positivity, care, and a sense of adventure. I believe that life is a beautiful journey, and I am grateful for every moment I get to spend with my family and friends, making lasting memories together.

Living in Australia has allowed her to make friends from all over the world and learn about many cultures. At school she finished top of my class for Children, Family and Community and that sparked her interest in pursuing a career in early childhood education. Thinking about her future career she did always know she had an affinity for children and she is very passionate about helping children to find their unique potential and be the best people they can be. Hope has learnt so much about herself through being around children. She feels she has a good understanding of children’s feelings and needs and knows how to connect with them on their level. Hope has a rescue sausage dog called Fergie who is full of energy even with her tiny legs and a Jack Russel named Dexter who loves his cuddle time. She has lots of siblings and she is in the middle of the age groups and absolutely dotes on her younger sister and kind of claimed her as her own. Hope is interested in reading, especially about self-care and wellness, loves yoga and exploring nature. Weekends are for adventures, and she loves to take on a challenge. I am excited to be helping your little ones grow and develop and provide them with care and loving support.

EARLY CHILDCARE EDUCATORS APPRECIATION DAY
At Kids College we celebrate Early Childhood Educators day every year in September. We are asking all of our lovely families to please send us an email on Jennifer@kidscollege.com.au and/or leave a review on our Kids College Childcare facebook site letting our wonderful staffing team know how much you love and appreciate all the hard work, love and dedication they have to caring and teaching your beautiful children.
Quote from Kids College Philosophy
‘We have a positive workplace culture that values and supports our profession as early childhood educators. We believe in our team of enthusiastic educators who genuinely enjoy being part of children’s lives and enjoy creating warm responsive relationships with a foundation based in secure bonding and attachments.’
